Reverend Pat

Rev Pat came into school for our assembly.  She showed us what she wore to take a service in church.  She has to put on a white cloak it also has a hood. It was called an 'alb'.

Reverend Pat had 4 scarves that she put on for weddings, funerals and christenings.

Coffee Morning April 2014

We worked hard to make lots and lots of different cakes for the coffee morning.

 We wrote invitations and sent them to senior citizens in and around Northrepps.

 We got ready to tell them all the things we do in school and to hear what they did when they were at school.  Some of them used to come to our school.

 They did enjoy all the cakes!

 We all spent time talking and listening.  Everyone enjoyed themselves.  We are now planning the next coffee morning.

Oak Class on the ipads

We went on our new ipads and searched for information about Europe.

Fitness Training

We went to the village hall to do fitness training.  We will be doing this  for 5 weeks to see if we get fitter and healthier.

We did a bleep test. We had to run 10 times across the hall then we go up a level the last level which is 10.  Thomas was amazing.  He got up to level 11.   We ran so fast the photographs are all blurry.

Greatness Assembly

 

Miss Leigh read a Dr Suess book in assembly.  We talked about how infectious a yawn is just like greatness.  We are all great at something.  We wore the glasses and told other children how great they are.

 Tabby wore the glasses first.

 Tommy wore the glasses and told Alex what a great friend he is.

Bethany-Ann wore the glasses and told James how kind he is.

Outside we have a new sign with our expectations so parents and children can see it.
