Me and Caleb had a different shade of paint, we had light brown, we used it for bark on the tree trunk and the branches.

Tommy's Rocket

Tommy made a rocket for his homework, today he brought it in to show us.

Tommy told me "I  made it out of a drinks bottle, some yogurt cartons and a toilet paper tube.  The fins are cardboard, there is a lot of glitter glue, there are a lot of stickers and three extra buttons on the front."

Reverend Jon

Today Reverend Jon talked to us about the Bible, he also listens to us read and helps us in Maths.

Making the Milky Way

Today we were learning about our galaxy, The Milky Way. 

We used glitter and PVA glue to make it with our teacher Miss Leigh

Jump to Jupiter on the village field 15/01/15

Caleb is holding Jupiter and Saturn.  Jupiter is 778 billion metres away from the sun, Saturn is 1424 billion metres from the sun.

Alex ran around the field to land on Pluto. Pluto is 5906 billion metres from the sun.

We are back!

This year Oak and Acorn are doing space as their topic. The children want to learn about: the names of the 8 new planets ,how to build a mini rocket, all of the planets, about the Milky Way, when and how did gravity start, will space ever end, the Sun.

We'll also have Ms Johanne Connelly decorating the middle room.

So it is not as plain as it is now!
